The Chippendales have won the Best of Las Vegas 2012 (Las Vegas Review Journal) Award for BEST MALE STRIP SHOW as both the Reader's Pick and Critic's Pick.

In addition The Chippendales' Flirt Lounge won the Reader's Pick for BEST LOUNGE in Las Vegas. Voting took place in January 2012 with the winners announced Sunday.

So Ladies - the people AND the critics have spoken: if you want a great night out in Las Vegas, Chippendales at the Rio Hotel is the place to be.

Jake Pavelka joins Chippendales for '10 years in Las Vegas' celebration

Some red carpet action with the world-famous Chippendales, who just celebrated their 10th year of being "the ultimate girls night out" in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino.

Joining them for the month long celebration is star of "The Bachelor" and "Dancing With The Stars" Jake Pavelka, as their new celebrity MC/Host.

Jake was joined on the red carpet by his gorgeous girlfriend, model and sports announcer Ashley Ann Vickers.

James Davis, Billy Jeffrey, Nathan Minor and Chaun Thomas of The Chippendales took to the red carpet in anticipation of the onstage celebration performance with all of the Las Vegas Chippendales en masse (final photo reading left to right): Juan DeAngelo, Sami Eskeline, Kenny King, Jaymes Vaughan, John Rivera, Nathan Minor, John Cook, James Davis, Dave Abrams, Chaun Thomas and Jace Crispin.

The sold-out audience for the 10th Anniversary performance was packed wall to wall with fans, who were clearly having a great time. Jake Pavelka kept the high energy show moving, while clearly charming the audience.

I think the show is great fun. I love seeing the ladies lose their minds in good, clean, adult fun. And I love that, while the show is certainly geared towards women - as "the ultimate girls night out" - men are welcome at the show. The men of Chippendales put on a great show for all their fans.

had a sold out audience

Fun night tonight at The Chippendales show at the Rio Casino and All-Suites Hotel in Las Vegas.

Jake Pavelka was very charming with the audience - his first night as the new Celebrity Host of the show. The audience clearly was excited to see him and he was very comfortable interacting with the audience as the MC of the most famous 'girls night out' in the world.

And after the show he took plenty of time to pose for pics with members of the audience & the men of Chippendales.

Good for Jake. As a native Texan myself, I can say he did everyone proud and showed a lot of confidence and charm with, what he's referred to as, his first live audience.

Ladies who make their way to The Chippendales in Las Vegas over the next four weeks can look forward to a good time with the men of Chippendales and the very charming and capable Jake Pavelka.

Jake Pavelka opens in Las Vegas as Celeb Guest host of Chippendales

The Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars alum Jake Pavelka is suiting up - or down? - for his new gig in Sin City.

He's the new celebrity host of the best-selling  Chippendales show at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in front of a live audience.

Not only that, Jake told RadarOnline his job is to "get the girls into their underwear!"

Preparing for his debut, Jake's dealing with a case of nerves right now. Although he's "been nervous for a month," the buff star added, "Everything I've done before this has been scripted shows or taped but this is the real deal....I'm intimidated to shake it on stage."

Fans won't see him stripping or performing on stage since he pointed out, "I can't dance! These Chippendales have choreography, they're professionals."

I don't know about dancing, but I'm sure the ladies in the audience are looking forward to at least a glimpse of Jake shirtless.  He's got the body for it, and if he was fit enough to be shirtless on The Bachelor on TV, surely he can give his Vegas audience just a second of pecs and abs....?

From IN Touch: Jake Pavelka, the former star of The Bachelor, will be honing his emcee skills as a celebrity guest host for a month as Chippendales celebrates its 10th anniversary at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas beginning on February 23.

While the sexy reality star will not be stripping to his skivvies, Jeff Timmons, formerly of the über-popular boy band 98 Degrees, has shown his perfect pecs on the Chippendales stage and has some words of advice for Jake.

“Jake is gonna have a blast!” Jeff tells In Touch exclusively. “The Chipps are wild and crazy, but at the same time, first-class! The girls get a little bananas, so we’ll see if he can handle it.”

Jeff’s limited one-month run was such a sold-out smash last year that it was extended for a whole summer.

Meet Nathan Minor of Chippendales

How about a little Q&A with uber-handsome Nathan Minor of The Chippendales?

Q: Were you a theatrical sort of kid?

A: I was Johnny Appleseed (in a school play) my fifth-grade year. That's my claim to fame. And I was in choir, up until eighth grade.

Q: When did you decide to pursue a career in entertainment?

A: I don't know, because I was a big football fan, too. I played football from Pee Wee, and that was one direction. I thought I was going to go to college and play ball. But I dislocated my knee a couple of times and I ended up in art school (on a scholarship).

Q: Did you finish?

A: The second year of art school, I was bored to death. ... So I went to the president of the school and I asked him if we could put the scholarship on hold. He thought that was pretty funny. I ended up walking out without a scholarship and leaving school without talking to my family first.

Q: When did you join Chippendales?

A: They were doing something in New York and asked me to be a part of it in 2000 and 2001. ... Then, after 9/11, the show basically shut down, and we went to Europe for the first three months and came to Vegas for a weekend, and we did real well at the Rio. ... After that weekend, they made a deal and we moved here. So I've been here 10 years.

Q: Are Las Vegas audiences different than audiences elsewhere?
A: In Europe, for sure. The women in Europe are really critical about the (production) of the show. They really appreciate the show (production values) more than, I would say, American women, who are more aggressive.

Q: They're not critiquing the lighting design?
A: Right (laughs). They (American women) want to know when you're going to take it off and they want to know what's coming off next.

Q: What does your wife think about your job? And please say you met her when she was in the audience during a show.
A: (Laughs) It was not in the show. She's from Brazil, and she's awesome, and she keeps me in line.

Q: She doesn't get jealous?
A: Know what? If she does, she does a good job of hiding it.

Jake Pavelka to be celebrity guest host for Chippendales in Las Vegas

Chippendales, the ultimate Las Vegas “Girls Night Out,” is about to get even hotter when reality show star, Jake Pavelka (ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars,”) takes the stage as the celebrity guest host for a Spring residency (February 23rd - March 18th, Thursdays through Sundays).

During his limited engagement at Chippendales, Pavelka will use his charm, sex appeal and hosting skills to keep the women entertained while leaving the dancing to the men of Chippendales.

Pavelka will be joining an exclusive roster of guest hosts at Chippendales including Ronnie Magro of “Jersey Shore” and Jeff Timmons of the platinum-selling group 98 Degrees.

The addition of Pavelka, who is still touted as one of America’s most eligible bachelors, will add to the four-week long frenzy as Chippendales celebrates its 10th Anniversary at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino as the venue’s resident “Diamonds in the Buff” (on Friday, February 24th) with nearly 4,000 performances.

Even though Jake won't be dancing at Chippendales, we all remember he does has a great body and some sexy moves.
